Cycleplus Carbon

We follow Calfee Designs repair methods explicitly, they have more than 15 years of repair history and have fine-tuned the process. All materials have been specified by Calfee Design and also been Approved by IComp and UCD Department of Engineering. They are also matched to the Manufacturer's own grade of Carbon and resin.

We have run extensive destruction tests on our carbon repairs and have found that we are exceeding the Standard set by the aero industry.

About us

Our head Mechanic Wayne has 20 years of experience in the bicycle industry. Having worked in the USA and Ireland in some of the tops shops. He holds qualifications in the UK Cytech in 1, 2 and 3, (Cytech is the internationally recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle technicians), which the highest qualification you can achieve. He also holds UBI qualifications, which is the American equivalent to Cytech.

To further his experience and qualifications specifically in Carbon fibre repairs we looked for a course and company that has an outstanding repetition in Carbon fibre manufacturing and repair. The company that stood out more than any other company was Calfee Design, which is considered one of the top companies in the USA in this field. They have been a leading light in Carbon fibre development having made the Team-Z Frames and the repairer of many of the Pro teams bikes.

Our head mechanic enlisted in their Carbon repair course and qualified with flying colours. We now boast one of the highest qualified Mechanics in the Country that not only can repair carbon bikes but also understands the Dynamics of the Carbon frame and can repair them without changing these Dynamics.

We have been repairing frames since 2010 for both our own customers and other bike trade shops.
